Dear BCO Supporter,

On behalf of the Brazos Chamber Orchestra, I want to say ‘Thank-You’ for supporting the BCO by your attendance to our concerts, by donating your dollars and by helping us get the word out about the Brazos Chamber Orchestra.

We are privileged that you are attending and enjoying our concerts that we give to you, our audience. Did you notice our logo for this coming season? Yes, we are celebrating our 20th season. This was made possible with your help. So, here is a preview for the upcoming concert season, yes, our 20th season.

  • For the fall concert, the BCO will feature Franz Schubert’s Symphony in b minor, ‘The Unfinished Symphony.’ Then hold on because as you would expect the music is going to change as we switch to ‘Journey’s Greatest Hits’; some of the other selections on the program – ‘The Impossible Dream’ and Pavane, op. 50 by Gabriel Faure, just to name a few. As you can see this one will have a little bit of all kinds of styles of music. This promises to be a very entertaining concert.
  • For Christmas, the BCO will play a mixture of season favorites including the beautiful ‘Stille Nacht’. This concert always fills up, so come early and get a good seat. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!
  • For spring, I am very delighted to return to our roots and collaborate with the Brazos Chorus. We will be featuring monumental works for chorus and orchestra such as: ‘Toward the Unknown Region’ by Ralph Vaughan Williams, ‘Cantique de Jean Racine’ by Gabriel Faure, ‘Calm Seas and Prosperous Voyage, op. 112’ by Ludwig van Beethoven as well as ‘Choral Fantasy, op. 80’ which is a piano concerto with chorus, also by Ludwig van Beethoven. The pianist is Mr. Evan Mitchell from Fort Worth, TX. Both of the Beethoven works will be sung in English. You do not want to miss this concert. Please know that all programming is subject to change.

This upcoming concert series cannot be performed without your help. You are that important to the BCO. As you know, we do not charge admission to our concerts, however, the concerts are not free, and we have expenses we have to cover. How can you help us on this journey of music excellence? If you know of anyone or a business that would like to place a program ad in our concert handbills, please have them contact us at our website – If you are able and willing to donate to us via online, in the mail, in our offerings that we collect at our concerts and in response to this our annual Capital Campaign, this would be an immense help. Perhaps you would consider budgeting and giving a specific amount every month. Please indicate in the return envelope how you want your name to appear in the program or that you wish to remain anonymous. Thank you for considering giving a bountiful donation!

Please return your donation by October 2, 2018 in order to meet the deadline for your name to appear in the concert program. Our donor categories are as follows:
