Dear BCO Supporter

On behalf of the Brazos Chamber Orchestra, I want to say ‘Thank-You’ for supporting the BCO by your attendance to our concerts, by donating your dollars and by helping us get the word out about the Brazos Chamber Orchestra. We are privileged that you are attending and enjoying our concerts that we give to you, our audience. With that said, here is a preview for the upcoming concert season.

  • For the fall concert, the BCO will change up its usual full orchestra instrumentation to feature the string section; percussion and I will conduct from the piano. Some of the titles are: Eleanor Rigby, Begin The Beguine, Hotel California, Take the “A” Train as well as fiddle and patriotic tunes. As you can see this one will have a little bit of all kinds of styles of music. This promises to be a very entertaining concert.
  • For Christmas, the BCO will play a mixture of season favorites. This concert always fills up, so come early and get a good seat. Christmas is the season most wonderful time of the year!
  • For spring, I am very delighted to bring back to our stage, Mr. Dean Peiskee, pianist. He will be returning to perform the beautiful Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2. You do not want to miss this concert.

So you can see, that this coming 2017-2018 concert series will be something you will want to put on your calendar, come to the concerts and tell your family and friends to do the same.

This upcoming concert series cannot be performed without your help. You are that important to the BCO. As you know, we do not charge admission to our concerts, however, the concerts are not free, and we have expenses we have to cover. So, we need your help to continue bringing to you, our audience, live quality orchestra music. How can you help us on this journey of music excellence? If you know of anyone who would like to place a program ad in our concert booklets, please have them contact us at our website – If you are able and willing to donate to us via online, in the mail, in our offerings that we collect at our concerts and in response to this our annual Capital Campaign, this would be an immense help.

Did you know you could help market the BCO by spreading the word about our concerts? Like us on Facebook and share our FB page too!

Thank you for considering giving a bountiful donation! Because of your generosity, the Brazos Chamber Orchestra continues to bring live orchestra music to our area, families are able to enjoy an evening out together, and you, our BCO donors, are in for another great season of live Orchestra music.
